CFA's fries are inconsistent, if anything. Sometimes they're great, but I've too had some unsalted, limp(undercooked?), stale, etc.

I need to learn what CFA some of you guys go to. I eat way too much CFA as is and I don't think i've ever had an unsalted batch of french fries. Some days they are cooked better than others, but that is no different than anywhere else that serves french fries.

Off the top of my head, it's happened at the Birmingham 280 location(old one by Target) a couple of times, the one in McCalla off 459, the drive-thru location in Tuscaloosa, and the one in Jasper.
And not all incidents were completely unsalted, but there was barely any on them.
I rarely eat CFA, so it hasn't happened in some time though.

I've had unsalted fries at the location in Collierville, TN. Their fries are pretty bad most of the time, but I don't go to CFA for the fries

I've never noticed if CFA fries have salt or not because waffle fries are the ultimate ketchup dipper anyway.

In ATL airport today and I walk by a Popeyes. Was hungry and I decided to see what all the hubbub is about. See the sandwich on the menu. Order it and I get a terse “no sandwiches” from the employee (ATL airport employees are such a joy....but that’s another topic). Is this going to be Popeyes’s version of “McDonalds ice cream machine broke”?

Had to meet a client at 5:30 behind the Popeyes on Gentilly and Paris. Delivery truck was there, and the parking lot was a zoo. People were driving in the wrong direction down a one way street.

Tried to go today. Average Popeyes crowd near my office is usually 4-5 cars parked, maybe a couple in the drive thru at most. Lots of fast food in the area.
Today the lot was full. Drive thru was wrapped around to the front door and at least 4 cars pulled up.
I tried to snag a picture but it was madness and I left. Which sucks because I knew about it first. We have had it for two months. And I am really starting to withdrawal

I’ve experienced the lack of salt on CFA fries at both the siegan and airline location. I pickup food from there maybe once a week for lunch. Today, the fries were lightly salted. Which compares to a normal day, is 10 times the salt. Last week, barely any salt. A couple weeks before that, NO SALT. The airline is the biggest culprit for no salt. But both have problems with salt and fries.
And idiots who can’t follow the direction of “follow that blue sedan” and instead just follow whatever car is in front of them.

I’m about 10 blocks from Kennedy. Client gave me about 4 lbs boiled shrimp. Could have swung by.
