Well at least you know employees were not fighting each other behind the counter. Because I've seen that show before.

Popeyes has absolutely no business not being the most dominant fast food chain in the country. the food is outstanding and they are a massive success in spite of the fact that their ownership/management doesn't give a damn about customer service or efficiency.

It starts at the top with their ownership who only cares about quarterly growth with all of the brands they own. Anybody with the financial means can own multiple franchises and stores, they don't care who they are...Then that trickles down to the store managers who don't care who they hire. If you have a pulse, you can work at Popeyes. Ownership and Franchisees don't care about customer service because they know the food is good enough that people will put up with the bullshite and keep coming back no matter what.... and for those customers they actually do lose? who cares?... there are millions more people out there who will stay.

In the restaurant industry they say "there is no spare customer and the customer is always right".... well the Popeyes (RBI) motto is .... "there are always spare customers and the customer is NEVER right!"

Too late to correct it now. It’s cue.

I had Popeyes for lunch today (spicy sandwich), and can confirm it was NOT on the menu.

They are on the menu in SELA.

I just got my order. A little more spicy that the original recipe and a different batter. I remember they used to be like the chicken batter.

Had some today. They are real. But they are not spectacular.
Weird batter texture, not a lot in the onion department.

I just called popeyes and the guy said they are on the menu, but they're not like the old ones. These come in already prepared. And all they do is fry em, and he said they're not as good as the old ones that they used to make

They have gone to a beer batter style. I believe the original was a seasoned flour batter.

True story I got a Popeyes $50 gift card for my birthday and went to pick up a big box for a football game and they denied the card when checking out after 4 different employees tried to enter it in at the register. Said it was invalid.

Popeyes out here inventing new ways to frick with customers.

Popeyes Onion Rings

I don’t eat fried chicken too much anymore — I love it. But when I do, I skip Popeye’s, except for their new chicken biscuit (had it 1x about three weeks ago).

I go to Leader’s. It’s local in Ascension. Better fried chicken —- always fresh, and the drumsticks don’t look like drumettes. And they have homemade onion rings.

Around San Antonio, Bill Miller's seafood restaurant, Laguna Madre, is making the original recipe. I wept at my table.
