I thought the same. It was much more harsh and not as smooth, but by no means undrinkable or a bad beer. Plus Envie seems to change with each batch anyways so I'm used to rolling with the punches with this beer.
Toppling Goliath used the same Florida brewery to can Psuedo Sue and Golden Nugget. Both beers were different than the original, but were still mighty fine beers. I am glad that Toppling Goliath will have everything in house again with the new expansion.

I’m trying to get the necessary equipment to reseal these cans filled with piss instead of envie. Then I’ll see if it wins a blind taste test vs canned envie from this batch.

That was the first thing that I thought.....the difference is looks of the beer is magnified by how/where the picture was taken.
ETA I want to do a taste test for myself (yes a glutton for punishment)....not to mention I need to add the can to my can collection

Wish I would have known about this bad batch of Envie. I just bought a 6er and am drinking one now. Not impressed at all.
