Oh I have no clue really, just made up a number in response to Wise.
I thought they were doing smaller legs as well though? So that stuff did not take as long to empty.

Double that number. 1/6 bbl keg is 640-660 or so oz. Add in some for loss, and you're in the upper to mid 50's servings if you're doing 10 oz pours.

These types of places tend to have a lot of waste. You're going to find a beer that no one wants when rotating taps. Remember the high mark up though.
a typical 5 gallon keg runs about $60 for a high end craft beer. So if you sell 1/3 of it at $5 a pour at 12 oz you break even not including labor, taxes, insurance and rent. Sell half of it and you cover all that. Or sell 1/3 at 10 oz pours and you cover that. Many beers such as stouts, porters and belgians can sit indefinitely til you sell them. You can take them off line and rotate them back into service a few months later with no loss of quality.

No smoking and vaping is huge IMO. Cigarette smoke is disgusting and the problem with vaping is: sure, it's not "smoke" but people still don't want vapor blown in their faces. Plus you always get those people who act like they're sticking it to the man by making sure they vape indoors and 99% of the time those people are trashy.
Jesus. The anti-smoking figs are taking over this country. Let's make everything look like a Pier One showroom. How exciting.

I like Pier 1 (that is the one with the boat right?)

I'm not sure if he's for smoking or if we are suppose to read that in a British accent.

Biggest Con: It's very ugly. I was in there, grabbed one beer, and left because it's not an inviting atmosphere. Unless you are a huge beer enthusiast, I don't see this place keeping people coming in for the atmosphere. It's the same shite carpentry used at the renovated Port Royal. I no longer go to Port Royal because it ruined its divey atmosphere with a new, clunky, and uninspired bar.
I agree. Had one beer and left. They even had florecent tube lights on. Those are the uninviting lights you turn on after a bar is closed to get everyone out, not welcome customers.

As far as the interior decor, it's a massive work in progress. It's pending several breweries for mural/painting work. Which we have Gnarly Barley and Saint Arnold coming Wednesday evening to do live paintings while we're open... The lighting isn't quite perfect yet, the

Yeah, I'm so lame for not wanting to breathe cancer.
And I don't get it. Would a Pier 1 showroom with a thick cloud of cigarette smoke and that nasty smell be "cool" or a better atmosphere? That's absurd. I don't know how anyone can defend/want smoking indoors.

I was there on Saturday...
I had a bartender who knew a lot about the craft beer market. It makes a difference. Good selection.
Biggest con: There are two long bars. One has all LA, TX, MS beers. The other bar has the rest. If you are sitting at one bar, you cannot get a beer from the other bar unless you get up and walk over there and get it from the other side/bartender. That's a HUGE bust for me. I didn't want to get up while I was watching a game. So, I didn't have a single beer from the other side. There's got to be a way to make all of the beers accessible for patrons at either bar.

That's not true, you can order off the menu and the bartender will go get it. Eventually the one side will all be local options I believe.
I've sat on the one side with their menu printed in front of me and ordered from each side never having to get up for a beer.

Yeah, the same bartender served me from both bars when I was there.

Yea only time I got up was to look at the tap handles and explore the location

I was told in no uncertain terms that I needed to go over to the other bar and get it there...

We will have to agree to disagree, I've been 4 times and never once was there an issue with me ordering from one bar to the other. LL also stated she didn't have a problem with this. I went Saturday and was ordering from both sides as well since we sat at the end of the "local" side bar.
