I mean, if he was sitting at another table and went to the "local" bar and they told him to go to the other, I totally get it. You're up anyway. Go to the correct area.

But otherwise, I can't imagine they'd make you leave the place you've been sitting at to order from the other bar.

Me either, he must have been sitting at an island table and just walked to the wrong side.

I really like the place, the bartenders no a hell of a lot, and the place wasn't pretentious. That said, the interior could be more bar-esque, but it looks like they wanted to get open quick, gets better each time I go. I sat at the LA/ local side during a game. The bartender brought stuff from both sides and never asked us to move.

Not on the bar, but, I am not sure the crowd could take the people at a Star Trek convention for the most part though.

I look forward to going back soon. I really want to get that Korova Milk Porter and Song of the South a try

The tap list is most impressive, and I think once they finish the decor inside, it'll be able to draw some people.

The only drawback, imo, was the layout.. The bartenders are going to be facing away from the entrance, and it's a little awkward the first time you go in and have to walk all the way around the bar.

Gotta be honest, I couldn't stand it. And I don't have the best beer palate and am generally easy to please.

:(

There's so much to try there. I'm going to be fighting internally over diet vs. beer hobby a lot with that tap lineup

Pft.

Bulldog is only 1.8 miles, and it takes FOREVER to make it home from there. I can't imagine 3.3

It'd take about an hour, not TOO bad. Not ideal, either, when you consider it takes all of 5 minutes to get there by car

This is EXACTLY what happened. I was sitting AT THE BAR for almost 2 hours with a friend. I'm glad it didn't happen to you. It did to me. I'm pointing it out so that Cove can make sure it doesn't happen again.

I'm a forgiving beer enthusiast and will be back...my friend, not so much.
