Scattered all the way is the goat. Looks like throw up, but tastes like heaven.

No need for all these toppings. I like to taste my hashbrowns. You can't beat plain hashbrowns with some salt.

Love me some All-Star Special. They ask bacon or sausage? Grits or hashbrowns? Both and both.

The only proper way to eat waffle house hash browns is a double plate of plain browns mixed up with 3 eggs over medium with runny yellow. That's the goods.

Scattered/covered/smothered for the win. Pecan waffle after for desert.

Ham is tragically underrated as a hashbrown ingredient.

Gotta go double order scattered well, smothered, covered and chunked and peppered if I'm feeling frisky. That and a double pecan waffle and an order of bacon and two eggs scrambled with cheese. And maybe some raisin toast with apple butter. Perfect 3 am hammered meal.

Good god, man.

Damn skrait.

I would eat the hell out of a ham and cheese omelet with ham and "cheese" hash browns and toast right meow.

A waffle for dessert or if I'm with the SO the remaining half of her waffle she didnt eat.

I've got no problem eating at Waffle House, but I have absolutely no idea what all of the hash brown codes are and I'm kind of proud of that.

We eat at Waffle House when we're on the road pretty regularly. They're pretty reliable.

One thing I can't get over, though, is the smoking in the ones in the South (MS, LA, AL). I've gotten pretty spoiled to not deal with smoking when I'm eating, but Waffle House is so small that one cigarette makes the whole place smoky. Just kind of weird to think that almost all restaurants used to have smoking in them and not that long ago.
