I know I looked after reading the Eater article and today.
I am very interested because I had heard of them previously and heard good things.

Again, I can understand being frustrated and upset if someone ACTUALLY defaced a serious piece of art work with ACTUAL fascist things that were actually bigoted.

Not sure why everyone is assuming something Trump related, but she specifically mentions raising a transgender teenager on p 286 of her cookbook. Dunno what sort of item/message was used to deface art in her establishment but it sounds like her momma-bear instincts may have been roused.

Been twice pre covid. Once on a date night and once with some out of town family.
Don’t recall the price. Wasn’t cheap- but purchased online at booking so it wasn’t a mystery.
Standard issue house baked bread and such for the table both times
Round one had a solid citrus salad, stuffed crabs, oyster stew, dessert and I want to say something else before stew but drawing a blank
Round two had friend soft shell shrimp, something eggplanty a berry based salad, same oyster stew and dessert
Everything was excellent. Love the stew. Would’ve liked to a few more of the soft shell shrimp. Never left stuffed but by no means hungry either.
