Except on a pretentious scale they are at a 10. That whole bullsht philosophy page is obnoxious.

I applaud this policy, which is not very Portlandia of them:

quote:

dietary restrictions: our menu is about celebrating louisiana seafood, if you have a shellfish allergy or can’t eat seafood we cannot accommodate you. we also cannot accommodate dairy allergies, vegetarians and vegans. we can accommodate nut allergies and gluten allergies with one weeks notice.

I sort of wish they had also told the nut and gluten allergics to forget it.

Is it an actual Supper Club, or just a place to get supper?

It was a somewhat different iteration when the name was conceived.

More of one or two nightly seatings rather than a bunch of undividual reservations. If that makes sense. There is probably a name for it.

I sat in on a 1 hour Zoom call when she launched her cookbook, she has some very strong opinions not shocked she went on a rant there. She lacks the business skill set to run her business its obvious when you listen to her talk based on her expectations and demands.

She took a lot of flak for not participating in cancel culture. Was shunned for a while. Thought it came out of those cookbook release pressers.

I'm sure it's all great but this menu doesn't scream $105.00 per person

Yeah. That and PREPAYING for food before I even know what I'm eating was a turn off.
The website with all the rambling was as well. There are other odd places like Mr Mao with good food to go to.
