Looks like the Texas toast from Canes.

Pretty much but it has a hinge and it's the traditional roll. When it is buttered and toasted with a good lobster filling its pretty phenomenal.

Otis did my shopping for me. I'll probably piss them off on the free shipping when I order one pack of rolls.

Are there any places in Baton Rouge that serve a half decent lobster roll?

Those buns are great...it's a New England style split-top bun. You make a decent burger bun dough (milk enriched white bread), roll into hot dog bun portions, then place 'em side by side, touching, in a pan. The dough rises vertically, so when you separate the baked buns, each has a soft, white side (like square dinner rolls). You slice into them vertically, as opposed to horizontally (like the usual hot dog bun).

I think that's Sunbeam Bar-B-Q toast. If I'm remembering right, it's sliced but not quite all the way through

Dat Dog uses a bun that is really similar to that. Not a huge fan of the place, just pointing that out.

That would be J Gumbo's, but that's up in Enfield, CT in the suburbs.

Apparently, you can't order the buns only. They must be ordered as an "accessory" according to that site.

According to the Pepperidge Farm site, you can find them at these stores in BR.

This one isn't in NO or BR, but if you go to Memphis, get the lobster roll at Iris

Insanely good

Looks more like a lobster crostini or bruschetta. Not saying it looks bad, though.
