When my kids were younger and I was cooking big meals pretty much daily, my food processor was one of my most essential kitchen implements.

Now that I don't cook for as many people and my wife and I end up doing a lot of grazing, I don't use it as much. Most of the things I used my food processor for back then, I can use my immersion blender for, now.

Those would be my two though: food processor and immersion blender.

I agree with all entries so far. My additions to the list.

2 tools, same purpose, both are absolutely necessary in the kitchen.

I use this all the time. Cooking, grilling, baking, reheating. Invaluable.

I have no obvious use for this but I’m always using it.

Vac sealer for sure is on the list.

I use a Mandolin a pretty good bit.

Bought a cheap electric meat slicer to cut bacon. It has been a game changer for my finished product.

These Taco holders are great:

It's awesome for making chicken salad or shredding a small amount of chicken. And it's kinda fun to use PITA to wash, though.

Grease separator. I bought this off amazon like 4 years ago and I use it every time I make a gumbo. Just ladle all of the grease into the strainer and all of the good juice settles to the bottom. Strainer catches all the veggies and you squeeze the handle to drain the good liquid back into the pot.

Sous Vide for me.

I use it primarily for chicken breasts weekly. They can get so dry but sous vide makes them taste good for 3 entire days. I don't want to meal prep every day

I like the French door design. Been wanting one.

Got a ninja foodi xl about 3 years ago and we all love it. The only thing I won't cook in it is fish.

Why? Air fryer fish is awesome. I do salmon in mine all the time and it's great.

my big three would be

vacuum sealer: buy large bulk items cheaps and break down to store and freeze

meat grinder: buying that large bulk meats and grinding m own meat saves tone of money and i can blend as i see fit. invest in a better grinder. something that can shred through 20lb of meat in few minutes.

stick blender: use this bad boy all time.

Maybe I didn't cook it long enough. Or use the right fish. I cooked catfish which I like crispy. But it just came out kinda soggy in some pieces.

freeze drier no question
last night we freeze dried okra, cheese and Thai basil

last round we did jambalaya, sage and tomatoes. It’s a life changer

I'm trying to figure out whether this is meant as satire or not

it is not
munching on freeze dried okra right now, its incredible

no more canning and no more packing the freezer, i can store fresh food indefinitely with no loss of quality. every time we have surplus fruit or veg i run it thru the freeze drier and stick it in a bag or mason jar.

Is it easy to clean? The Geedel model on Amazon has pretty good reviews.

Yep, we toss it in the dishwasher after use and it comes out spotless.

Control Freak induction plate from Breville. Exact temp control is pretty cool. You’ll learn a lot about how food transforms under exact temps. Also makes frying very easy. Can also act as a sous vide type machine. Combine with a pressure cooker and you’ve got a great set up for long-cooks.
