Heading to the keys in April for 3 nights.. Any must stops and what's the scoop on Duval St? Thanks for the help as always...

Don't go to a place called Garden of Eden. Very drunk one night My friends and I stumbled into this place on a bachelor party. Turns out it is clothing optional and there were plenty of guys hanging dong.

If you never had it, try the fried conch. Most restaurants will carry it.

El Siboney was a good Cuban restaurant when I was there.
Although very corporate feel to the place, I liked World of Beer.
Skip the sloppy joe place on the main drag

Nine One Five
Ambrosia (you might not think of eating sushi while in key West but it's 100% solid)

Latitudes. It's on a little island off the harbor. Look it up, you won't be sorry.

Blue Heaven
And second El siboney. I haven't eaten much Cuban food but it seemed authentic and we all enjoyed it

Morada Bay Cafe was outstanding for a nice dinner. The coconut crusted grouper was really one of the best seafood dishes I've ever had. It's a little way up the keys though (not in key west).
Eaton Street Seafood Company in Key West had both a lobster roll and a crab cake sandwich I would highly recommend. IMO the crab cake was better than any I've had in LA. Not sure how they did it but I will say it was like 95% crab meat. The lobster roll had a mountain of lobster on it, and it was lobster, so of course it was awesome too.

What are places whiter than the north pole for $500 Alex?

Head over to the Harbor area. Lots of good restaurants over there. Also, on the way into the island, stop at the Chamber of Commerce...they'll give you a bunch of buy one get one free drink tickets for popular places on Duval (seriously). Call ahead and confirm they'll have some for you.
Also, Blue Heaven for breakfast, but be prepared to wait for a while.

Fresh stone crab claws are good, previously frozen are not. They should be in season when you are there...

BO's fish wagon for a grouper sandwich and an only-in-Key-West vibe.
Hogfish Bar & Grill, in the marina on Stock Island (just E of Key West)...open air, you can watch the boating traffic while you dine. Lots of locals, a bit off the tourist path (or as much as one can be off of the tourist path in a place like Key West)
Cafe Marquesa is high-end without being stuffy; it's been a few years, but I had a great meal there at a bargain price for the quality/service. (Memory fails me, but it might have been some sort of off-season prix fixe.) Hotel Marquesa is also a wonderful place to stay.

What we do is call the chamber of commerce, tell them how many people, how much we want to pay, what amenities we want, and when we're coming, and they do the searching and come back with the best deals based on your parameters. Because there are so many independent bed and breakfasts, it's a huge help, and free.
