How about Billeauds Meat & Grocery in Broussard. I've always enjoyed.

Love Kartchner's.

Next time, get some of that life changing maple and bacon sausage. Also...get some fried ribs out the hot food case.

Cajun Element at the Destrehan Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings. Easily the best boudin. I've had Don's, Billy's, Best Stop, not even close.

you are going to the original one hit up Borques on port barre. High level boudin and that jalapeno sausage cheese bread. #schwing

Their location in Lafayette on Johnston near Woodvale is pretty good too. I stop there every Sunday to get a BBQ plate lunch.

Nunu’s: Youngsville location better than Scott location.

Early's was so much better than NuNu's in Scott. You are correct, the boudin is better in Youngsville. The plate lunches are a far cry from what Early's used to serve (quality and quantity).

Yep, I only use Bourque's hot pure pork smoked sausage and andouille. Sausage has the right amount of smoke but is not overpowering and is not dried out. Great amount of fat/meat ratio. Their andouille is just above everyone else's IMO. It goes great with sausage in gumbo when cut in quarters.

The GOAT crawfish boudin used to be found at Hebert's boudin locations. They stopped making it a couple years ago and never did start selling it again.

Don't sleep on Rabideaux's sausage and boudin. Their smoked boudin has the best texture and rice/meat ratio of any boudin I've had, the heat level could be dialed back a god but though. Kartchner's smoked is tied with Rabideaux's, it has a stronger smoked flavor and less heat.

If you're going to Broussard and don't get a link from Billeaud's you are seriously shorting yourself. Billeaud's and NuNu's are my top two but then someone brought us some boudin from Bourque's in Port Barre and we were like

To me, those three are better than Best Stop, Billy's, Kartchner's and Don's (Billy's smoked is legit).
