I’m going to Dallas this fall. I’ve always wanted to try In and Out. They are several in the area. Is this just a Whataburger type place? It’s either In and Out or Shake Shack (which I love).

Dallas has all three.
All three are overrated.
In and Out is the most overrated of all.

I mean its fast food for sure, not as many options at Whataburger, If you haven't tried it then I would say yes.

Double Animal style (fry the patties in mustard).

shite when they came here the line was wrapped around them for months. Took a while before we tried it, Its ok, but not something we look for. If we happen by one after a sporting event I will mention it, but its good with one kid and not good with the other.

In n out is no better than whataburger which is only a mild step up from most fast foods. I’ve never had shake shack.

It’s a good fast food burger. If you go in with that expectation, you’ll be fine. Get a double and I prefer it animal style. The fries suck. Service is good.

For a $4 double cheese burger, it’s hard to beat.

Its a fast food hamburger. Don't overthink it and put 'the pussy on a pedastal'. Its better than BK, McD, etc... but your backyard burgers are superior. Its all marketing shite talk. I like Whataburger over In and Out, but that's just my opinion and most people diasgree. For no legitimately good reason IMO. Its a fast food hamburger.

Tried the one in New braunfels, TX. I thought it sucked. I don't get the hype. Fight me.

People who think any of them are amazing are equally as dumb as people who think any of them suck

All three are above average fast food burgers.

This Board is VERY anti-In-n-Out. VERY. It's really really good and worth the trip if you've never had it before. In fact, I demand that you go.

My order is a double double and fries but in my opinion, can't go wrong with anything.

Fries are not great but they're good.

Bub's in Nola is better. Heard they're opening full time this summer.

I’d honestly rank it dead last on burgers at a chain I have eaten. I thought it was good the first time I had it, but it was my first meal in 20 hours. I had it again 2 days later and it was terrible.

California based chain. The CFA of fast food burger joints. Great service.

Food quality wise, nothing special but nothing to throw on the floor either.

I mean, this is just dishonest. It's infitely better than a McDonald burger just for the fact that it's fresh.

I don't give a shite about the in n out war as it's just a damn fast food burger, but Cmon
