Unless you live on a shrimp boat, zero percent chance it's shrimp.

shrimp, easily
chicken is way more versatile
the correct answer. While my favorite dishes may contain shrimp, the versatility wins out in the end. That plus getting bad shrimp is more prevalent than chicken

That just made the lunch decision easy for today

Shrimp is disgusting. That's an easy one.

Exactly. If I am at a restaurant or somewhere and have the option of chicken or shrimp I would probably choose shrimp, but I eat chicken so much especially at home it would be hard to give it up.

Sucks that you have the taste buds of a small child

Losing shrimp would be terrible. I love shrimp tacos, shrimp pasta, fried shrimp - delicious. I have shrimp about once a week, and it is just so fast, easy, and moderately healthy. However, I could sub out shrimp for lobster or scallops or crawfish, depending on the dish - and I guess I would live.
However, losing chicken would be close to unimaginable for me. Could you imagine never eating chicken wings again? Or friend chicken? Or braised chicken thighs? These are some of my biggest guilty pleasures. I could do without chicken breasts, or ground chicken, or rotisserie chicken, but doing away with all of it would fundamentally change how I eat.

I'll happily take all the shrimp y'all are leaving behind.
If I ever crave chicken, I'll just eat anything else because everything tastes like chicken, right?

This is super tough. but I couldn't give up chicken wings. So winner winner chicken dinner.

I’d dump chicken in a hot minute for endless shrimp. Right now, beautiful 16-20 count shrimp fresh off the boat is $3.50/lb, so I’m eating plenty of shrimp to support my local fishermen. Stir fried a big pile with garlic, ginger, soy, and broccoli recently, will make some shrimp and grits next.

Chicken would go in a heartbeat. I might miss fried wings and good fried chicken, but I can fry up some turkey and make fried turkey gumbo. I'm not a big chicken eater, anyway.

Seeing as shrimp is nasty/gross, this is easy for me.

An interesting question, because if you put both in front of me, I'm going for the shrimp, however...
Shrimp would have to go, because the stock I'd make from chicken would be the base for my beans, soups, braising, etc.

If duck were as accessible as chicken in a grocery store I'd probably get rid of chicken.
This question is more difficult than I'd like to admit. I could eat tempura shrimp every day.
