As much as I love shrimp, that’s the one I have to give up

I could eat shrimp every day for the rest of my life and be just fine with it. Chicken sucks.

Tough call. I probably eat more chicken, but it would be hard to give up shrimp. Chicken has way more variety. Fried, grilled, chicken salad, smoked, bbq, deli sliced, ground, etc. My family eats more chicken than shrimp. If it was just me giving it up it would be easier, but if I can't do chicken for the kids it would be harder. It would be easier to give up chicken if I lived near the coast.

I can substitute crawfish for almost any dish that would require shrimp. Chicken would be a much harder substitute.

Could I still eat poultry like turkey/quail etc? I love chicken but I probably eat more ground turkey than any type of chicken lately

That may have me on the shrimp wagon.
