Is it just me or do really hoppy beers (IPA's, Ghost, ect...) smell like sweaty armpits, musky smell. I don't get the craze but to each his own.

Depends on the style of IPA and the hops used. Some are dank. Some are catty. Some are piney. Some are fruity. Some are all of the above.

I've had some old ones that were pretty bad. My favorite mexican restaurant that usually just has mexican beers had Deep Ellum IPA cans on the menu last weekend. After I took the first sip I looked at the date... 03.21.18. It may have been sweaty armpits but I'm no expert.

I'm gonna guess mostly Zima and an occasional Cosmo.

Probably just you

Nothing wrong with that because there are plenty of beer styles out there and it also means more hops for those who like IPAs

Everybody's seemed to have ditched piney. Depressing, really.

If I want a tropicalia imitation, I'll get the real thing.

It's your DNA. You obviously inherited more of your mother's feminine traits than your father's masculine traits. You bring shame to your father's name.

This is why i have been able to drink many IPAs. Two years ago I had zero on my list. I either got pine or old lady perfume from them, neither do i like.

It is not just you. IPAs suck. Drink a stout instead.

I just rather drink both, but thank you for trying to limit my choices, Commie.

I liked the piney ones too. Simcoe and Amarillo hops were a classic pairing for a while. Now citrus is all the rage.

I'm starting to get burned out on haze. Honestly....and don't spread this around.....I was in New England this summer and the trillium stuff I had was not that great....it was fine....good enough....but too sweet and fluffy.

I usually switch from citrusy to piney type IPAs around this time (winter).
