Even if it is, the chance for mudd will probably scare a few folks off and they will have their friends out there selling their tickets for them.
That is what I would assume, so it might be worth taking a chance to go out there.

well this does suck if i can't buy tickets. figured there was pretty much an unlimited amount considering it was in city park. well not unlimited but enough to wake up this morning and purchase.
ETA: I see on the site where tickets for gen admin can be bought day of for $20 at the gate.

I bought 2 tickets back about 3 months ago but just realized that it is an individual ticket for each day. So hopefully they still have some I can buy at the door if they have an issue with that.
