Do you eat it or no? I do and I’ve always seen lots of people eat it tail on and everything when it’s fried. Steamed or boiled...no. Was eating tonight and a buddy said he’s never seen anyone eat tail on fried. What say the f/d board? Tail on fried or hell no?

Fried tail dipped in ketchup is delicious. I eat them all the time. No to boiled/steamed tails

I never used to but now eat the tail all the time if it’s crispy.

Yeah. Gotta have some crisp on it. If they don’t batter it I don’t eat it. I love the crunch of it. He looked at me like I was the weirdest fricker on the planet tho when I popped the whole shrimp in my mouth

I eat the tails. Sometimes if they hard to peel I'll eat the whole thing except the head.

I'll eat the dorsal fin and tail of a fried whole sac-au-lait.

That’s a negative ghost rider, seems like something that would get caught in your throat like a fish bone for a long time

Like a crunchy shrimp potato chip!

Bonus, my little girls leave the little piece of shrimp tail meat in them & pass them to me!

I genuinely didn’t know people ate the tails on purpose until this thread.

Me and my kids enjoy the fried shrimp tails. I thinks it’s similar to eating the tail on a fried bream which I love.

I will usually eat about 1/3-1/2 of the tails (the whole tails, though) of however many shrimp I eat. I pretty much never eat them all. Is that weird?

Underrated part of shrimp:

Those were picked from a shrimp boil, good stuff.
