My dead mothers fried chicken since we had a large family and when she fried it about once a month she fried about 6 chickens so we would have enough cold the next day with her potato salad

I agree with this and I'm assuming you deliberately left out crawfish.

I like cold boiled shrimp and crabs. I can't do cold crawfish for some reason, though.

Popeye's is delicious piping hot, right out of the refrigerator, and also at room temperature. It's the most superior food known to man.

I’ll eat good boiled crawfish from the fridge, but I don’t find it as good as it is hot.

Boiled shrimp and boiled crabs I enjoy equally, hot from the pot or cold from the fridge.

Does room temp count as cold? Because nothing beats some room temp skillet

I’m surprised bacon has yet to be mentioned.

They’re delicious cold if they’re real grits cooked soft with enough butter and cream and bacon fat in them

Honorable mention: pizza. It’s good cold, but hot is superior.

Superior is just over room temp while it’s starting to congeal
