I could eat seafood every day. A lightly fried oyster is hard to beat.

I like shrimp.
You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich.

Louisiana crab and oysters in any form are at the top for me.

Mussels, clams, scallops, lemonfish, salmon.. all great too.

I like shrimp, but its below all of the above just because I find it kinda bland. Same with lobster.

I pretty much only eat crawfish boiled, but I'll tolerate it however it is served to me elsewhere.

The Lovely & Talented Mrs. Lammo and I had some BR-purchased large quahog clams this week that were simply delicious, steamed and dipped in lemon butter. We love razor clams, too, sauteed with salty black beans and jalapenos, and Giant clam (geoduck) for sashimi or sushi, or baked in the toaster oven and served with a dab of sriracha sauce. Also raw blood clams on the half shell.

Can't say clams are my favorite, though. I love Lobster, scallops, fish (esp. red snapper, speckled trout, grouper)and sushi/sashimi (try scallop sushi or put scallop in a rainbow roll instead of "crabmeat" and mayo), eels (freshwater and saltwater), crabs, softshell crabs, oysters (raw, fried, or baked/broiled), shrimp, cerviche, crawfish, frog legs, fried catfish, mussels.

I love seafood! If I had to give up seafood or red meat, I'd give up red meat.

There is nothing like a crab cake that's almost entirely lump crab, covered in melted butter and fresh lemon

As a lifelong La. resident and seafood lover, I can't just pick one type of seafood as my favorite.

Most everything mentioned so far is on my list and some things not mentioned yet like frog legs, alligator meat and grouper.

Probably blue crab, but I love any kind of shellfish.

Is crawfish really considered "seafood"?

my friend built a press machine to get the meat out of crabs. works like a charm and you won't waste the small crabs that are about impossible to get the meat out of. the crabs have to be raw, or the shells will crack if boiled.
