You can have ours, but you have to take the Tchoupitoulas beer garden place too.

Yea, it's certainly not all beards and fedoras. I've seen crazy amounts of talent at places like Wicked Weed and such

Its not but the beer nerds are still terrible. Take the talk of notes, finish, and nose to your living rooms.

All this is going to scare away the little talent that is around.

I have never seen a young woman drink a craft beer

That's because you live in Alexandria. There are no craft beers there.

Weak overpriced beer selection and a corporate atmosphere.

This is the Buffalo Wild Wings of beer gardens. Not my thing.

Generally mediocre to bad taps, overpriced, staff knows less than your average joe about the product, and they don't care for the product. There's no reason a 6+ month old IPA should be on your taps.

Wise's gripe about the atmosphere is legit, but that wouldn't bother me if the beer was good. But it's not.

I knocked back a few All Day IPAs at Spirts with my Knob Creek burger last Saturday. Nice place

Atmosphere? What the frick is atmosphere? I drink in grocery stores half the time. There is some talent in the grocery store, though...

Grocery stores have better atmosphere than world of beer.

My Whole Foods has been stepping their game up in this department. They had a beer and oyster tasting the other day.

The Affliction douche bags love World of Beer. That's what he's trying to tell you.

No. I have two stores near to where I live - Market of Choice and New Season's Market. Both are similar to whole foods, though, with lot's of prepared foods, organic produce, and higher prices than than the regular supermarkets. Neither one is as expensive as WF, though...

Referred to WF as the place in the Houston area where your description holds true. Usually always something good on draft to drink, and scenery.
