Everyone knows this place is good and the Louisiana poulet pie is fantastic.
But if you haven't had the fried chicken with red beans you are missing out. I'm still full from last night... So worth it.
Just had to make a post.
Also the wife got the spiced sangria. VERY GOOD. Better than my Envie.

Its a large 8in by 6in pounded flat chicken breast perfectly breaded (light) with great crunch and not dry.

PSA - They're on 225 Best Eats right now.
$24 for a $40 gift card. It can only be used at dinner Sunday-Thursday I think, but not a bad deal for a weeknight dinner.

Went once a few weeks ago and got the boudin burger. i didnt eat for the rest of the week. really good but really heavy

Also, they have some of the best fried catfish, shrimp, and oysters in BR.

Its really similar to the "chicken fried chicken" they used to serve at Chelsea's, and now serve at Merchant.

Wut? 225 Best Eats is where you get a gift card to somewhere featured for half the price. It’s not an article - just a gift card.
Unless you’re saying you wouldn’t buy a half priced gift card just because it’s sold by them? That’s dumb. I hate FDL too but I’ll happily buy half priced gift cards to Gino’s, Elsie’s, Eliza, Rouj, etc. (all have been on this site).

The Pimento Cheeseburger is legit but greasy as hell. Completely worth it but bring a towel for cleanup.
Crawfish queso is incredible.
I don't think I've had anything even just ok. It's all unbelievably good.
