As a kid I hated seeing my mom put onions in anything. She would have to wait for me to leave the room to put the onions in red beans and rice or chili.

I ate the shite out of onion rings, but in m to 5-7 year old brain that was different and made total sense.

Eventually she told me to quick whining and that she had always put onions in everything, I just didn’t see it.

Never had an issue again.

I cooked etouffee’ for some guys from Alabama. They turned their nose up at all of the onions.

Like them cooked in almost anything. Raw, I like them, but my stomach says, Whoa there, let's discuss this.

I generally dislike onions but I can eat them prepared fine enough.

Raw onions or grilled onions though? Nah

I’m more of a raw onion kinda cat. Onions cooked into dishes over power the other flavors.

Yeah I eat onions. I'm not a huge fan of raw onions though but eat them any other way.

Want a sense of how many don’t eat onions in any way…

people like that are just retarded, dont change any recipes for them, just use minced onions and cook it down into the food and they will love it and never even know

They may not know they do, but they do. This is the same as the people who “don’t eat mayo” but guzzle down various creamy sauces and dressings.

I always loved pickles and loathed cucumbers. When I found out that pickles came from cucumbers my mind about melted.
