Do you eat onions either cooked in food or as onion rings?

My step family wont eat anything with onions cooked in it. Seems weird to me as so many recipes call for onions and I grew up eating them in so many things.

Want a sense of how many don’t eat onions in any way…

Have they ever eaten at a restaurant?

Because just about everything has onions in it.

I have a friend who won’t eat garlic or anything with garlic in it. I usually offer him some grass in the backyard since I’m not changing the food for a bunch of people to fit his million different food “allergies” and general hang ups.

green and purple....for eggs, grits, gumbo, any Cajun recipe, lasagna, burgers, chicken etc....onions are a go to.

Green onions are a simple grow, year round.

The entire family? Wow. And they raised their children to be just as picky from watching them? What jackasses.

There’s a burger place in Seattle that didnt have onions. I was confused as hell when the worker told me this. This was back in 2003.

I wouldnt be able to cook anything cajun.

I bet they wouldnt even know onions were in a certain dish if they weren’t made aware. And if they wont eat it simply because it has onions they cant even see, then they are just bitches.

Edit: you should serve french onion soup with a sliced onion instead of bread, and raw diced onion instead of cheese. Just to spite them.

I love onions! I pile them on certain foods (tacos, burgers, sandwiches, etc.), put them on pizza, and I am a big fan of onion rings. I also love onions in foods such as smothered chicken, rice & gravy, etc.
