Ok with me, but the best hotdog wrapper is a tortilla. It leaves lots of room for fixin's.

Those look underdone. Are they cheese dogs? If so then they're really underdone.
No problem with the sandwich bread. I ate a lot of hot dogs that way as a kid. Those links are the right size for bread. A bun would be too big.
Needs mustard. Ketchup is okay if that's your thing, but the condiment(s) should go on the dog, not the bread.

frick the bun. my bad would get some beans, cut up the dogs.. and beans and franks were dinner for the rest of the week. when I go home for holidays I still get him to make it one night.

For a few years, I pretty much ate Kraft Mac & Cheese for lunch every day in the summer. Mom would make me cut up hot dogs every now and then and add to it so I'd get some protein.

Same thing here. Remember PaPa made hamburgers for me and MawMaw one Saturday afternoon. When he came inside the burgers were on hot dog buns. When I asked him, he said they were on sale and it's the same bread, just shaped different. MawMaw just rolled her eyes. I miss that cheap old SOB.

My mom would cut the hot dogs in half. 2 hot dogs = 4 halved between 2 pieces of bread. She called it a hot dog sandwich.
