Yeah I’ve used those before and think they are legit for washing them but that’s completely different than aerating them without food for 12-24 hours to truly “purge” them.

When the crawfish rub against each other in the ice chest, if there is salt on their shells it helps clean the outside of the the shells which in turn cleans the crawfish a little more on the outside than if not using salt. It’s like an abrasive cleaning. Not sure how much difference it makes. Does it make them regurgitate and all that other stuff, apparently not.

Aeration generally seems simple enough but it is hard to find detailed info because everything seems to be either fishtank or pond nothing the right size to hold 1-2 sacks.
I wonder if you could just set the sack in the salt water swimming pool overnight?

Also for the guys who put a splash of their secret ingredient like worcestershire sauce or something, you can't taste that in a giant pot of water.
