Going with a group of 4 to Chicago this weekend. We staying at Hyatt downtown. Looking for some good, casual restaurants and some local pizza places. Also, any nice rooftop bars or other bars worth checking out?

I had deep dish pizza at Lou Malnati's the last time I was there. Not a big fan of deep dish, but it was good.
Purple Pig was also a great casual place I had lunch at one day.

Just do a search on here. We've had some good Chicago threads in the past year.

Thanks. I've had Lou's also...it was ok. I want to try another spot

If you don't want Lou's, I'd highly recommend Pequod's it's my favorite deep dish there.
If you can get a reservation at Girl and the Goat, I would definitely go. Au Cheval has a great burger, and The Publican is good too.

There's a rooftop bar at the Lincoln Hotel with some nice views. The restaurant downstairs is really good as well.
You didn't ask for this specifically, but if you are looking for a dinner spot to hit, call The Girl and the Goat and see if there's any availability. But if you're going this weekend I doubt there will be.

Any of Rick Bayless's restaurants.
Girl and the Goat.
Lot of good steakhouses.

aureolio's is delicious thin crust.
lou mal's gino's and due's are all very similar. basically same recipe. giordano's is a cut below.
lincoln park hotel does have a great rooftop
for fast foot, go to al's italian beef. and get a dipped beef with hot and sweet peppers
go to Ceres in the bottom of the board of trade for a serious gin and tonic.

Publican & Pequod's will always get my vote.
Milt's BBQ for The Perplexed and Honey Butter Fried Chicken are good spots as well.
Look out for the Phish w00ks, Wrigley is this weekend!

Family had a great meal at Green River downtown recently. Very nice view, also.
