I am not sure they have the pitching. the transfer from MSU looks good, however. Best case scenario is they make they NCAAs as #2 seed. this is not an Omaha club. i'd say its 50/50 if they make the NCAAs. let's see how they do against MSU this weekend before we get crazy

Cincy should have won the game. they basically had it sewed up and so I went to do something else and flipped it back on and they lost. I assumed their coaches did something stupid.

that said, i hope they get left out since they are leaving the American!

well, we have a better coach and maybe a better qb. no doubt, LSU has more talent all around but an advantage in those two areas can be decisive.

started watching Peaky Blinders so am reading about tunnelers from WWI. does not seem like a fun job.

Sparty was good that year. Cleaves was a good college player and Mo Pete was a shooter. That Iowa State game was really good. MSU has had beter teams since then too, which is odd.

How many times has a Big Ten team been runner up? since then? Illinois, Indiana and OSU since then off the top of my head. feel like there are a couple more.

the year that Kenyon Martin broke his leg at Cincy is not the same year MSU won, which I believe is the last Big Ten title. Martin was 4-5 years before that

edit. maybe i'm wrong. i could have SWORN he was much earlier

that is dumb. Tulane is doing well in the American. they aren't kicking it out for a regional school in Alabama, whose own state government won't let it succeed.

yeah, in the 80s it was nasty. Bulls also had the Pistons then the Knicks. doesn't seem like there are too many rivalries like that anymore.

A&M cannot pass. I'd take in order: 1) OSU 2) Notre Dame 3) lots of other teams, including Florida other than A&M.

A&M has no business in the playoff. This is SEC silliness.

9-2 is a stretch. Tulane should rightfully be 8-3. cannot believe they lost the Tulsa game but the Navy game was worse. Pratt played at a legit Miami HS and did not have the spotlight because his whole team went to D1. he is really good.

LSU is, obviously, having a forgettable year but not so bad for other teams from the state.
