I agree with this part. I have met some great people with the common ground being beer
but i think we all like to drink.....maybe too much

Theres a level you should almost never steep to and buying high life is it. Unless you are poor or a college student there is no reason to go below the bud light, miller lite, coors light, bud heavy, and michelob ultra level of beer.

Well I have a Miller High Life recent story. As in yesterday around 2:00pm. Sitting on a piece of property in the country waiting to meet Demco my neighbor, a retired Baker cop about 70 pulled up on his 4 wheeler and handed me a 16 ounce tall boy. Should I have told him I can't stoop this low and embarrass him? Hell no, early week, mid afternoon 12th grade beer was ice cold and I enjoyed it with him while chuckling about this thread.
But while I've had my fair share of the Champagne of Beers - I used to like the tall skinny bottles- I'd have to say my palette has changed. That said a man brings me a cold beer on a hot arse June afternoon I'm grateful and say thank you.

What better place to have as your after work hangout, than a brewery?
Sigh. If only that was an option.

For me, I will drink more than one beer in a day once a week maybe. More than 2 almost never. So, I will only drink something I am going to really enjoy.
Like others have said, if I am at the beach or on the boat with friends and BMC or PBR is what is available, I could put away a few.

Why does being on a beach or a boat mean you have to drink piss ?

I don't understand this either. There are plenty of other options to drink that have the same (or at least very similar) ABV and taste much better.

I wonder how much of this is the big breweries buying craft breweries.

I just do not like the flavor of light lagers. They are really a turnoff to me.

Never understood why people drink high life. I get your point, a lot of people are fine with just drinking their regular domestic beer over and over again. Ill gladly pay whatever the price difference for a 6 pack if it means I do not have to drink high life ever again my entire life.
I like a fine steak, but sometimes you have to eat bologna.
I've got a buddy that only drinks Miller Lite. He pokes fun at me because I change around all the time. It might be High Life or hell I've bought Bud Ice and PBR in the last month or so. I also love dark beers and hoppy stuff. I like variety.

I think it's odd that so many of you know what piss tastes like. BTW, Bud-light tastes better than pretty much 90% of craft beer.

Another reason to avoid craft beers-the attitudes of the people that drink them.

I could say that about BMC fans as well.

amen
BMC fans get so insecure when you open a beer they don't recognize around them
