It sounds like you prefer pale lagers. So you've identified a style you prefer. There are many pale lagers brewed these days that offer more flavor than bud light. Drink bud light of you want, but how would you ever know that a Czech Pilsner isn't your favorite style if you never had it?

I understand not everyone liking IPA's. It's an acquired taste for some. What I don't understand is stating that 1 brand is your favorite if you refuse to try something else. In the end, I don't care what you drink. Just letting you know there is a whole world out there other than light American lagers, aka bud light, and you might really enjoy them.

If you don't want to do the searching and trying method, go into a bar or craft beer store and ask someone that works there. Tell them you are a bud drinker and you prefer that style, what could you recommend on the craft end? Most beer bars even offer 4 oz tasters.

There's a whole other world out there much bigger than bud. You are doing your taste buds a disservice not exploring that world.

Hell, a lot of them will let you try samples for free. In general, craft beer bars are very accommodating for people who are trying to explore different styles.

I went to a local place and they said they were no longer doing free samples. Their reason, after they opened they had so many people trying samples they ended of floating kegs quicker than they expected and they were not getting the return on their investment.
As a solution, they started offering 2oz samples for a dollar and no more than 5.
