Going in May and interested in which ones are good, great, the best and ones to avoid. Probably only go to two so I'll go where the best reviews are.

The Wicked Weed Funkatorium is worth going to.
Sierra Nevada has a great spot.

We did Wicked Weed and did the whole behind the scenes bus tour upgrade thing.
Well worth it. Went to 3 different places and tried a bunch of different beers and styles.
By the end it didn’t matter. Haha!

Burial is my favorite, but I haven’t been to all of them.

Went a couple years ago and really enjoyed Burial and Green Man. Plus they are about a block away from each other.
Didn’t really like Sierra Nevada, but that was because it was the last leg of an all-day bachelor party. It was too clean/bright/family friendly for us.

I have always loved Wedge best, but you have so many great choices. Burial has some great beers.
Edit: Wedge's Witbier, Farmhouse or Saison, and Golem are outstadning.

Burial
Wicked Weed Funkatorium

Hi-Wire
Sierra Nevada
New Belgium
Green Man
I know Sierra Nevada and New Belgium are traditionally local but SN had on of the nicest taprooms I've seen. While NB had plenty of taproom only sours that were great.

Buriel
I don’t know why DSSOLVR doesn’t get mentioned in these Asheville Brewery threads more often it was my favorite.

Yeah I really enjoyed Burial, Bhramari, and the Wicked Weed duo.
I have to say I didn't much care for Hi-Wire.
I didnt make it to Asheville Brewing but had a couple variations of their Ninja Porter at different places and I liked it a lot.

Bhramari
Burial
Green Man
DSSOLVR
Twin Leaf
Eurisko
Archetype
Hi-Wire
Wedge
12 Bones
Also go to The Whale on Haywood Rd.
ETA: I went to Bhramari Wednesday night, they weren't open inside but had a lot of outside seating. We didn't have to wait at 4:30ish, but when we left around 6:30 there was a good line to get a table.

If I remember correctly, Burial and the Funkatorium are right across the street from one another. There were one or two other breweries right there as well.
SN is a little bit of a trek outside of town, but my god, their facility is top fricking notch. I've been 100s of breweries, and Sierra Nevada in Mills River takes the cake as the nicest and most impressive modern brewing facility I have been to.

This is a great list, I would agree that New Belgium and Sierra Nevada have beautiful facilities. Unfortunately the last time I went was last summer and SN wasn’t open.
If you’re flying into Asheville there’s a fairly new place that I liked called Burning Blush. They had a really nice taproom and were one of the few places doing inside service at that time.
If you don’t mind a little drive north of downtown there’s Zillicoah which was pretty good and then Zebulon which had some really interesting beers. Neither is much in terms of aesthetics but Zillicoah has a nice view of the river and Zebulon has a very cool dog that hangs out there.

Probably because it is new and people havent been to town since it has opened

Sierra Nevada's facility is just amazing. Nickname is Malt Disney World. Beer is meh but it's a gorgeous compound
Hi-wire
Burial
Zebulon has some great beers although very small. Only like 4-5 beers at a time.

Freaking place has been shut down for over a year now, with no indication as to when they might possibly reopen.

It's a cool place, but I don't think it's worth the drive from downtown Asheville. Way too much of a sterile, corporate feel to it. And when I was there, they really didn't have many brewery only beers on tap. It was all their widely available ones, and maybe one or two taps for smaller batch stuff.

I like to go to their dungeon downtown. Cool place to drink and lose all track of time. The other good ones have all been hit on. If I’m picking favorites I’ll probably side with Greenman or Burial.
I hope it’s opened up more next month. I’m in Asheville a lot and it’s been a shell of itself durning Covid. It’s turned from my favorite place that work takes me, to a place I just don’t really care to go to. Shitty attitudes abound. Hopefully things open back up and that changes.
