So we're eating grits, eggs, biscuits, sausage and country ham for supper tonight. Is there any meal that brings out your inner child more than breakfast food at supper time? Mom and Dad used to cook it for my siblings and I about once per month as a kid and I'm trying to keep the tradition going. Any specific foods or memories?

Pancakes. I used to love pancakes for dinner.

Not the point of this thread, but I’ve never liked the word “supper.” It sounds so antiquated.

I can eat cereal with milk at any time of the day because it's awesome

I have about 5 hours of looney tunes lined up on the DVR at any given time when the craving hits

Same - pancakes soaked in hot melted butter and syrup and an ice cold glass of milk.

French toast and bacon.

Love brinner and do it maybe 2-3 times a month.

My mama would usually make breakfast for supper on Fridays. I still do it about once per month.

Always do this with the left over Jambalaya for supper the next day. Kids love it too. Gotta make sure it’s runny yolk!

Breakfast for dinner was a common request when we were young. My mom didn't mind as much because it was easier to prepare.

Brinner is awesome. I'm probably gonna have it tonight because I'm having a chicken salad for breakfast.

The local Lions club used to do a pancake dinner once a year starting at 5pm for a fundraiser. Always looked forward to that as a kid. I love breakfast for supper with the coldest glass of milk you can find.

I've only known fat families that eat breakfast at 8 O'clock at night.

Because I say "dinner" instead of "supper"? Or because as a kid I liked pancakes for dinner? Or both?

If I'm snobby you're definitely sensitive.
