I now like to add pan fried boudin patties. Cut the boudin out of the casing. Form into patties. Dust both sides with flour. Then brown both sides in a skillet like hash browns. Goes great with eggs - poached or sunny side up.

I don’t adhere to the breakfast foods only at breakfast thing, same goes for eggs. Same goes for leftover supper. I’ll eat gumbo or red gravy in the morning.

Probably have a breakfast supper once or twice a month.
I’ve been known the eat boudin and/or hoghead cheese for breakfast

My mother’s biscuits were the best I’ve ever had. A big cat head biscuit with butter and Steens reminds me of my childhood like nothing else. Dad would make lots of crisp bacon, grits on the side. Still a fav meal
