I normally hit up parkway when I go into town but it has gotten too busy and I want try somewhere else. What you got?
Good recommendation with R&O, it was awesome. On a side note wrought iron might be one of the worst beers I have ever had

I like Short Stop Poboys roast beef. It's in the Metrys, but also has a drive up window if you don't want to mix it up with the Jeffersonians.

My favorite is R&O's on the lake front (also great crab/crawfish pies)
but also like Luizza's on Bienville (Scooner's of beer are a big plus)

I don't know what the best is. I think many of them are different in the way the meats are cooked and cut.
As others said, I really enjoy R & O's and LOVE the bread it's on.

I think Parasol's is better than Tracy's at the moment. Parkway is a classic. The daiquiri shop at St. Charles/Carollton holds a special place in my heart for their long gone $2.99 special.
I do not like R&O because of the seeded bread. It's a fine sandwich, but it's not a po boy.

That's a reason I love it.

Have they opened back up after the business was sold a while back? If so, do they have the same menu?
