Pizza Byronz. Three different crusts - go with the deep dish.

What was the name of the place where apparently the pizza was great, but the service was horrible. Louis DeAngelos or something.

The Rotolos craft and crust on Burbank is much better than the other locations with more gourmet type options.

Only been to Pizza Byronz once and it was also good.

Roma’s in Prairieville. Will take some napkins to soak up the grease but it is a guilty pleasure restaurant for me.

I absolutely love their pizza. In fact I'm about to give them a call.

Roma Pizza used to be my go-to, but NY Pizza & Pasta on Jones Creek has surpassed it. Gotta get a whole pie fresh outta the oven though, not one of the premade slices.

Go to FDL. You can get both shitty service and underwhelming pizza.

We tried Pizza Byronz recently and it was was really really bad. I tried to like it because we love Bistro, but the pizza was one of the worst I have had. The deep dish pizza was okay, but nothing special. The regular crust Cochon was inedible. Crust was flavorless and the texture was severely lacking (felt like I was eating bread). The pork was gray and flavorless, and it was served with raw white onions on top. It was bizarre.

I try not to give negative reviews of places after one try, but this was just bad. I will just stick with Bistro moving forward as I always enjoy my meals there.

I think the Baton Rouge pizza scene in general is pretty poor.

Rocca for Neopolitan style
RZ for mediocre NY style, but it’s the best BR has
Digiullios is solid old school pizza
Rotolos Craft and Crust for Chicago style

Technically not Baton Rouge but Big Slice Pizza in Gonzales has been my go to lately. Right beside Dutchtwon high school. Big 20" NY Style pies.

How is bistro’s “normal” pizza? - Not the deep dish or French style. I’ve had the deep dish and it was ok - a little too doughy for me. My favorite used to be FDL but I thought they closed.

Jabby's on Old Perkins at Highland is definitely worth a try.
