Yes, Whataburger gives you a real egg, not that plastic crap at McD and BK.

KFC in Ferriday, LA used to do breakfast when I was a kid and those “sunrise biscuits” with sausage , runny egg, and cheese were made from the tears of Jesus. Man I miss those.

As much as I like their breakfast their coffee is swill and it’s rare I have enough time to stop to at 2 different places for coffee and breakfast, especially with post-COVID lines.

Wrong on the McD quality. The mcmuffin eggs are from fresh eggs that are cracked and cooked in the restaurant every morning.

McDonald’s - Their biscuits suck at my local McD, so I get Sausage Egg McGriddle, “sub round egg” to get a fresh egg. This is getting ridiculous on the price though. Like $6 for the meal, so I’ve just been getting a Sausage Egg McMuffin for $2, and it’s pretty good.
If I don’t go to McD’s I’m ordering a sausage egg biscuit, so on those, my order is:
Whataburger
CFA
Hardee’s
Church’s is good too, but the lowest form of employee is usually working in a Church’s so you might sit there for 15 minutes.
Church’s is the only of these options I have in my town.

I've actually never had a McMuffin or McGriddle before. Maybe had a McGriddle once when I was little, but I don't recall the taste. (edit - apparently the McGriddle came out when I was older, so I guess not)
I really need to branch out
Bacon/Egg/Cheese, or the Sausage Biscuit, add cheese are both good IMO.

I highly recommend an egg and sausage jalepeno cheddar biscuit with a small side of onion rings with spicy ketchup. Yes, they'll do that at 6 am!
