We are be located off the water, but there is no pizza within 20 minutes of us. The main highway gets almost 10k cars a day passing, we are the main hub.

Working with Glazers on wine. Wine does really well down here.

Again, you should really be working with both. Republic and Glazers fight for biz but have no incentive if they have no competition. They constantly drop their prices and offer better deals with they need to. Not to mention some of the wines RNDC carries you’ll want to serve.

Most restaurant/bar owners will tell you RNDC has a better wine portfolio. Tho I hear they will be losing some to offerings to Glazer soon

Typical from you.
You probably think people are paying $11 for a coffee at Starbucks as well

Do you disagree that a 6% ABV local beer is $8-10?

Just noticed Head of Island as the location, be awesome if you are taking over Vals down there...

But if that is the location then I would stick with Jucifer, Canebrake, Miller, Coors, Bud, Yuengling, and maybe Holy Roller. Get a few fruity light beers in like The Cucumber Lime Gose or Sips series that girls may want

Would be awesome to have the Warsteiner. No one carries a good lager. Just the domestic macros and Stella.

I think the Val's location was bought out by FEMA because it used to flood so much. The building was leveled and the Gov't owns the land now. We are about a 1/2 mile from the Diversion Canal on Hwy 22.

All bottles

My understanding is bottles have the lowest profit margin.

I believe profit margin is generally:

Liquor >> Wine >> Canned Beer >> Bottled Beer

Place that is local to where I live goes to Rouses and buys bottles/cand of certain beers and resells them. They are a little hole in the wall so no one says anything.
Bartenders buys ghost (12.99) then sells each for $6 a bottle

I have no official restaurateur experience, but I do have tons of drinking beer at pizza place experiences.

If I'm going to a pizza place, I'm going there for the pizza and beer selection is 100% lagniappe.

As a counter point, I base much of my pizza restaurant visitation based on whether or not they have a decent craft beer selection. I go to Red Zeppelin because I enjoy the pizza, but while there I'm buying $9 pints of Ghost. Rotolo's has a great craft beer selection as well, and I visit fairly often.

I'm not saying you need to go all Chimes with 80 taps of different craft beers, but you should also do more than serving 4 different versions of the same shitty light lager.

If it was my place that was short on space for a big draft system, I'd stock all the Bud/Miller/Coors/Michelob Light cans to go with Blue Moon, Corona, etc. Then I'd find a 4 tap tower kegerator that doesn't take up a ton of room and put 4 draft crafts on like Paradise Park, Jucifer, Canebrake and Andygator.

That $100 keg of Jucifer will yield 40 pints, which at $6/pint is $240. Also remember that higher price point beers lead to bigger checks, which lead to bigger tips for your servers. So they are incentivized to sell a round of $5 Canebrakes for a table of 6 instead of $3 white cans for the same group.

But you know your clientele in the LP better than I do, so take anything I say with a grain of salt.

I want the draft, and I can't currently squeeze in a 4 tap kegerator. I am that tight on space currently

This place must be very small. No room for liquor or a kegerator? They make three tap fridges that are 2’ x 2’. Holds three 1/6 barrels

In a pizza place?

Do people drink that while they eat?

I'm not a fan of them (I don't like sparkling water), but people guzzle them down at crawfish boils, bars, etc. So I think its a good idea.

Plus they're cheap-ish and you can probably make a good profit on them.

Anytime. People love those seltzers, epecially the low sugar ones. Not sure who distributes White Claw, but I find most places have Truly instead.

Just a note, Miller Lite people are crazy. They could very well not go to eat pizza if they cant dring Lite. Just an observation.

Good luck.
