Jucifer if you can. Urban South Holy Roller is solid. Parish Envie, Dr. Juice. Good luck!

Understood. Some of those are interchangeable with Mockler products but others aren’t. Blue Moon for example, it’s one of the highest non domestic movers in this area, draft and package.

Of course the other alternative is just to totally lean into it and basically be "the craft beer pizza place" for Livingston Parish.

Very true. Was just a bit of advice from my experience. He will get quite a few request for Miller Lite.

Gl either way.

Craft I would keep on tap
Jucifer
Ghost in the Machine
Holy Roller
A Tin Roof Beer
A Abita Beer
And then a few rotating beers of local products from Brieux Carre, Zony Mash, Great Raft, Urban South, Parish, Bayou Teche, Flying Tiger, Gnarley Barley, etc

If I had 10 taps I would do
Miller
Coors
Bud Lite
Jucifer
Ghost in the Machine
Holy Roller
Rotating
Rotating
Rotating
Rotating

Also the Mexican place, which is currently across the street is upgrading and moving next to me. I am going to stay away from the Mexican beers. I think he is adding 20 taps, but I don't think he is going into the crafts beers

Are these draft or bottle/can selections?

Also, I know it’s a different license, but I’d rethink not having spirits for cocktails. Even a well line up will return more profit than any beer you can sell. And when I say cocktails, I just mean vodka/soda or bourbon/water. Nothing fancy.

I have no official restaurateur experience, but I do have tons of drinking beer at pizza place experiences.

If I'm going to a pizza place, I'm going there for the pizza and beer selection is 100% lagniappe. Any of the typical domestics + Dos Equis is what I'll request when ordering a beer at a pizza place. Something I appreciate Deano's in Lafayette for is that they keep their bottles iced. Ice cold beer + pizza = chef kiss.

That pie looks good, good luck with the pizza joint!

I have my full liquor license, but I just don't have the space to deal with liquor till I expand.

Beer is not cheap to buy and low margin. You need to be focusing on what is going to move at your store and not what's "good." Being in LP, how many people are realistically going to come into a pizza joint looking for a $9 beer? Buying a bunch of local crafts and having to chunk them is just flushing money down the toilet.

Like someone else mentioned, starting small and expanding if you have the demand is way more responsible than having a big tap list full of expensive beers

Hence why I said liquor should be option. 1 bottle of vodka will make you a hell of a lot more money than several cases of beer.

Typical from you.
You probably think people are paying $11 for a coffee at Starbucks as well.

Rally Cap First Pitch would be a good choice for sure.

Pint of Ghost is 10-12 at any Walk-On's and usually 7-8 anywhere else....

LP has some decent beer spots with Walk-On's, P'Beaus, LeChien and places Like Hooters, Big Mikes, Dukes, and Rotolo's picking up several craft options.

Now not sure the area in LP as that may change what I think. We talking around Denham/Walker or are we talking Mauerpas/Albany/French Settlement

Have you gotten set up with wine yet? Republic?

At least if you are going just bottled beer and wine, you don’t need a bartender. Servers can handle that. Not sure if cocktails play at most mom and pop pizza joints anyway
