I could really go for some lamb chops.

You really can't beat a good hamburger. There are a lot of ways people frick up hamburgers.
Or they buy lean ground meat. The fat gives it flavor.

Not only do I prefer a hamburger but 9 times out of 10 I prefer a burger from Burger King over a $10 gourmet burger.

Dictated by mood.
If I am in the mood for a burger and someone offered me a top steak, I'd still go with the burger.

Gross.

Give me a 2” thick bone in prime ribeye over any burger ever made.

That’s absurd

It depends on my mood, really. Sometimes I just want a good burger. Other times, there's nothing better than a good steak. Hell, I've been known to cook/order pork chops over any red meat at times.

What about a good hamburger steak?!? Best of both worlds.

I rolled into a BK on the road recently—first time in probably a decade—I swear they just have a lit grill burning meat scraps for effect, because that patty was steamed, and it was absolutely fricking disgusting.

Sauté your onions before you mix them with the beef. 1/3 buffalo, 1/3 lean beef(85 or 90) and 1/3 pork has been my go to mix the last three years. Great flavor to fat ration.

Five Guys arent worth the price, but they sure are good. Nothing beats In & Out, with a big glass of cold milk, on a bad hangover day

OP puts ketchup on his steak.

If I'm cooking, it's 50/50. Just depends on my mood. Depends on the restaurant if I'm eating out.
If my dad's cooking, I want a burger. He's 85, and cooks everything well done. I can handle a hamburger that way, but not a steak.

My mom's husband always does steak for a big group and overcooks mine. A decent ribeye that's much past medium is ruined to me. Might as well chop it up and make tacos with it at that point.

Great hamburger > bad steak
Great steak > Great hamburger
Great steak > Great hamburger

Completely with you. I'll take pork anything over beef anything any time.
Also would take a burger over a steak. Not much of a steak guy. I like my meat dead so don't really get the flavor of a truly desired steak so don't see the point buying them myself. Best part of a steak dinner to me is a baked potato.
