I know it's probably an unpopular view, but I do. Anyone else?

A hamburger is my last meal request.

For soaking up a hangover yes. Hard to beat a bacon double cheeseburger with a side of fries.

I mean, they're good, but I'd rather have a good steak over a good burger.

Or anytime when you need hydration and calories. It is amazing.

Most of the time I'd agree. I'd get tired of either one if I ate them too often.

If I’m at a restaurant I’d rather a burger and if I’m at home I’d rather cook a steak

Nope because I'm either craving a med-rare steak or a homemade loaded hamburger...... never both st the same time.... but point well taken

I’ll take a nice seared rare ribeye over a filet or a burger anytime.
But
I’ll take a legit fresh ground aged high quality beef burger with real fresh smoked cheddar cheese and legit fatback bacon on a fresh baked brioche bun with lettuce, fresh tomato, pickles and legit mayonnaise over a Butter seared or grilled filet every single day of the week and twice on Sundays.

There are times I would take a burger over a steak in a heartbeat. And vise versa.

You really can't beat a good hamburger. There are a lot of ways people frick up hamburgers.
The art of a good hamburger starts when making the patties, which is where a lot of people frick up.
They make them too thick which fricks up the heat distribution.
Some people put onions in their ground meat before making patties. I don't like to have small crunchy chunks in my patty. Let people put onions on their burger if they want onions.
So yeah, I am with you.
