That would be a good spot for a Walk On's or a Chimes

Adrian's was overpriced, tried it once and never went back

I’ve eaten at the one on Jefferson twice in the last 6 weeks and they are really doing a nice job both food and service. It certainly could have been something worse going in there.

I went to Adrian's once and never went back. I can see why it closed.

The Chimes would be a home run at that location.

Both the chicken fried brisket and pulled pork grits bowls at the OG overpass City Pork used to be some of my favorite brunch items around BR. I try to make a rendition of them when I have leftovers from the smoker.

City Pork will make a killing there.

Adrian’s was gorgeous looking, but damn, everything else sucked balls.

City Pork, Rouj, and Beausoleil Coastal all range from good to very good.

Haven’t tried their pizza joint.

Optimistic about this.

This.

It was a wannabe Juban’s-lite in terms of pricing but not the menu. And the wait staff was seemed like it was compromised of girls moonlighting in a Prairieville opioid sales ring.

I’m not really that critical of wait staffs but the service was terrible on a slow random Tuesday evening. Never went back.

This. Wife and I were excited when they first opened, but we were one and done after I had to open my own bottle of wine because the waitress didn’t know how to do it. And then she spilled about 1/4 of the bottle trying to refill our glasses, with basically no apology.

Just goes to show how these restaurant owners get complacent, and think that their success from one establishment will translate to whatever they do.

Place was god awful. Had a poboy there once that was all soggy and never went back. Wait staff was bizarre as well. Glad City Pork is expanding out to that area. They should do really well there.

By far the worst of the bunch! Just not on the same level.

Oh man. I've had to do this a few times at various places too. One was at my brother's rehearsal dinner last month. Not only did we have to open it.. the bartender didn't have a wine opener, and I happen to carry one in my purse (we do a lot of outdoor concerts) so I had to provide the opener as well.

Not a big deal, but was funny considering the dinner was upstairs in a full service restaurant.

It is awkward in restaurants, though, when someone can't do it because they get more nervous.

I think the pizza is good, but the wings are better. They have to be nuts to be investing this much money into restaurants in the pandemic era. best of luck to them.

Their 3 other restaurants are absolutely killing it right now. I don't do City Pork often, but there's a crowd every time I drive past. I do both Rouj and Beausoleil often and they're packed. Especially Beausoleil.

Really, it seems like most decent restaurants in town are doing fantastic right now, to the point where I wouldn't consider is the pandemic era anymore.

Should kill it there, hopefully they upgrade the taps in the bar too.

Adrians food just wasn’t good as everyone has said, we went more often than we should have just to sit in the bar and struggled to find anything halfway decent to eat
