I highly recommend R'evolution. Fits all of the criteria for a 1st anniversary and its inside your red outline. Just ate there again on Good Friday night. Ask to sit along the windows overlooking the courtyard and have an after dinner drink out there if it's not too warm.

GW Fins or Rev

I love Domenica but I would be shooting for something more elegant if it was me. If you want something more casual, then go there.

Yea if you haven't done Rev then that's the obvious choice.

I think it is sweet that you are being so thoughtful to find a good restaurant for such occasion.

I think you will both be pleased. This restaurant has the most comfortable chairs. Sounds funny, but it makes the experience so darn relaxing. I wanted to sit in the chairs and have multiple after dinner drinks just chilling out after the wonderful meal. It's not a fast serving restaurant, but not slow. It's a "dining experience" such that adaquate time exists between courses to sip and relax. That's one of the aspects that contributes to making it a good "occasion" restaurant.

As I said, the tables on the back wall overlooking the courtyard are few making it somewhat of a private area rather than sitting in the kitchen area or in the center room, though none of the tables in any area are on top of each other. I love that as well as the fact that the tables are what I'd describe as a bit oversized such that there's plenty of room for plates, drinks...no moving of bread baskets around to make room for anything.

Service has been terrific every time.

Restaurant R'Evolution is fantastic. Me and my wife ate there the night after our wedding and had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend it for an anniversary type of dinner.

I see on FB that you did not go here.

I was looking forward to your thoughts since I haven't been, too!

You can't go wrong here, both the food and atmosphere are great for such an occasion.

Get the crab beignets as the appetizer.
