Looking for a list of options within the red outline for dinner options for our 1 year anniversary. The ones that I have written down are:
GW Fins
Mr. Bs
Palace Cafe
Galatoires
Domenica
What are some solid options I'm missing?

Just right off the bat, Galatoire's and Domenica aren't anniversary type places.

That's one silly arse red outline.
Go to August

Yea I figured that; just trying to get a list of places before deciding which we will do

Went to GW Fins for our anniversary 2 years ago. It was excellent. Be sure to mention its for your anniversary when you make the reservation. Request a table in the back.

I've always liked Italian Barrel as a quiet anniversary spot. Although I am not sure how the atmosphere is after their recent expansion. Food has always been very good.
ETA: I zoomed in on your arbitrary red line and realized Italian Barrel is outside of your grid.

Don't be cheap. Call a cab. And it's not a hike at all

Its a stones throw from that area. Have you considered R'Evolution?

Nothing to do with being cheap. We want to stay in the quarter due to plans afterward

You can uber back to Penthouse.

August is such an easy walk and so much better than any on your original list.
Consider Bayona also.

Go to August. You're at least somewhat used to BR. You're used to trekking much more than that. A $10 cab ride is nothing.
Then you can celebrate the late evening anniversary at Penthouse and then go back and pass out. My favorite type of night in NOLA.

What is with everyone talking about celebrating at the Penthouse?
Posted on 6/4/15 at 11:25 pm to TigerTatorTots
Why not?! I love NOLA Penthouse. So much better than ours.
Though, to be honest, I usually pop into the $5 strip club when in town

Take Mr. B's and Palace Cafe off the list. Both arent what they used to be.
Bayona and August would be my suggestions.
