Hard to say what BR would need because I'm not sure I'd choose a fast food place over my current restaurant rotation.

I was going to say In n Out but I had a burger at Overpass Merchant that was delicious. So I really don't know. I just don't eat at many chains if I can help it.

Don't get the infatuation with this place. Other than a few of their sauces it's pretty much MEH food. Been twice to one here in Orlando and that's plenty.

It's packed all the time though

Same here in Lafayette, it's nothing special, but people wait an hour or more for it????

Portillo's or Papaya King would be good down here, other than Sonic hot dogs are pretty much non existent.

We had a Baja Fresh that closed years ago. I miss that place. Like their food and salsas.

TGI Fridays has made two forays into the Baton Rouge market, once as a franchise @ Cortana mall and later as a corporate store on Essen just north of Perkins.

Both failed within first few years of operation.

In 1999 me and some friends wanted to get a Bud's franchise and a Tastee Donuts franchise, combine them and offer free wi-fi (wi-fi was not that common then)
The rich kid of the bunch's dad tried and both chains said no to that market.
I feel the both of those near College Drive would have made a killing.

Sucked. pipe dream that came up after passing the pipe and never panned out.

Jersey Mikes is moving into Towne Center. And at one point the Outback in BR was the most profitable in the US. I guess times have changed

I live in Lafayette now, but New Orleans area needs a Whataburger.

West Palm needs a whataburger. The closest one is in like Gainesville or Ocala 5 hours away.

In the past three years they have opened Lou Malnati's, Giordano's and Portillo's stores in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.

Life is too short to eat dinner at chain restaurants. Airport food is the only exception. And Popeyes.
