Have been reading about this and tried it last night with great results. Had a chuck roast I wanted to use for tacos. Seasoned with chipotle mix, hard seared in heavy pan. Ellerbe’s on Magnolia is very good, Waters downtown has decent seafood( not NOLA but credible). Salsa Limon, Velvet Tacos, Taco Diner. Istanbul Grill and Bird Cafe are good to very good, depending on what you like. Joe T’s is average at best but drinking g margaritas on that patio is a fine way to ...
