Frick all of the sites, and there are many, that pimped Gibbs over Montgomery

Yeah I didn’t get any shares of Gibbs, but I wish I had. I did get one of Monty because his values was just too good.

They are both going to be good this year.

I mean I wasn’t a huge fan of Gibbs at his ADP but this is way too early for a melt on him. The usage will improve and he still looked explosive. He was always going to be more valuable middle of the season and on.

Gibbs looked good. It was week 1 for a rookie so this may be his floor but I think this is going to be his usage though. He was super efficient. Might be a buy low opportunity

This is still an overreaction imo. Gibbs was hyped based on his season long potential, not TNF game 1 on the road vs. defending SB Champ. This was going to be a Monty vet lean as long as the game was close.

Gibbs had 9 touches and looked good with some explosive plays and nice elusiveness. I have a little more stock in Gibbs than I wanted - namely winning bid $28 in TDFL Tiger - but I wouldn't sweat this game.

It’s gonna be like last year. Montgomery lots of goal line and short yardage.

Anyone with a brain knew this wouldn’t be 50/50. Gibbs not built for it while Monty is a mule. Gibbs will get plenty of high value touches.

He has literally never played with Goff before tonight and Goff was much better at home last year.

Monty was a much better value in drafts. He upgraded offenses, quarterbacks, and was somehow a round or two cheaper than last year.

Yayyyyy for sample size. If you watched that game, you have to be excited for how explosive Gibbs was.

Perhaps there should be a warning sign on all fantasy football content that reads “IF YOU SUCK AT DELAYING GRATIFICATION THIS IS NOT THE GAME FOR YOU.”

Mont gonna be the new Williams and lead their backfield in TDs? They like that short yardage back for TDs.

One game. The flow of the game really helped Montgomery as well.

I’m so shocked the veteran rb out touched the rookie in game one….this shite happens every year and people act surprised

Gibbs looked really good in his touches, he’ll have his day

If Gibbs didn't trip in the 1Q he'd have walked in for a TD early and I doubt you'd be this upset. Just on the wrong side of variance.

Dude, those sites were right but Gibbs owners just need to be patient. If you watched the game then you get why.

This is going to be Kamara/Ingram part 2. Montgomery is a good back but Gibbs will be special. Detroit chose to use the vet to punch it in from close and to close out the game. To be honest, Montgomery’s skills were better suited to do just that.

Monty was saved by a TD. We knew he would play the Jamaal Williams role.

If Gibbs had broke one and Monty not scored, some Monty owner would be here complaining.

Take a breath. It’s week one and you’re talking about a rookie who played the role everyone (except you perhaps) expected. I would be excited if I were you. Dude looked even more explosive than he did in college. He’ll hey his.

Montgomery is a good vet NFL back and Campbell trusted him to punch it in from close and get the tough yards to close out a game (both of which are his better skills) against the SB Champs on the road to start the season.

Anyone who watched the game realized Gibbs was the special player on the field but the Lions clearly want to ease him in to things. His role now will not be the same in Wk 4 unless Campbell is extremely stubborn.
