The one coherent sane response on this thread.

It should be the only day to vote…no mail in ballots unless you are military or ex-pat…

Some of us don’t live in commie states and place importance on Election Day.

Because it is fun and I like seeing the ladies that work there at each election.

Same for me. Drive 30 minutes to the courthouse for early voting or stop at the rec center on my way home from work and be in/out in under 10 minutes this afternoon.

A lot of early voting stations are set up in some city office, small school or other location that is not part of a person's usual routine.

About to go at 11. I work at home and precinct is just two streets over and EV here is only offered at the courthouse which is 20 minutes away from me.

In Livingston parish. Walked right in and voted at 8am with zero issues. Took 2 minutes.

Election day voting makes it more difficult for the Democrats to calculate, print, and drop off all the necessary ballots they need to get over the top,

I love going in person on Election Day. Wouldn’t vote by mail unless I had no other choice.

We don’t have any other option in Alabama unless you do an absentee ballot. You have to provide a reasoning for voting absentee, though. I wish we had early voting here.

I voted about 8:20 CST this morning.

Voted early once due to a vacation. Took me an hour.

It takes me a minute to go on election day after work.

I do because the lines are shorter with many more precincts open than for early voting.
