Legacy Hire for President Tate?

Saw that Tate wants this to be his legacy hire hoping to bring in a minority coach. Really hope Woodward and LSU will bring in the most QUALIFIED, ready to win coach possible and not someone just for their freaking skin color. This woke bs needs to stop

One question. Why is it a "diversity hire" when most of our team is black, our president is black, and like 4 of our coaches (?) are black? Seems like diversity just means "as few white people as possible."
I'm all for getting the best coach regardless of color, but man... don't tell me it's "diversity" when whites are by far outnumbered in the program.

Anyone who is at all familiar with Tate shouldn't be surprised by this. He is willing to throw out 80% of the possible candidates just so LSU can virtue signal by having a black head coach.

I've heard it from a booster friend. He told someone in the organization that if they hire a lesser qualified coach because he's not white, he's not giving a dime to the program.
My guess is a lot of boosters think the same thing. No one likes this woke crap. Woodward has to know this.

Sure didn’t actually. You can say what you want about Moscona but he’s getting his information from legit places… and he’s on other major football radio shows saying this is what he’s being told. He said this today.

I’m 100% all for the best coach being hired regardless of race or anything else.
And VERY stupid for Tate to say these intentions outloud. Should have kept that to himself and steered the search how he wanted.
But … how many head coaches has LSU had in charge of the football program in history and how many have been white? You can’t ignore that part when talking about diversity in the football program.

Moscona said the DC hire would be a black coach. Period. This was before any interviews.
This now has me concerned. I don’t agree with forcing a hire based off of skin.
