Legacy Hire for President Tate?
Yep. Ryan Clark will get his shot at coaching in the big leagues.

I can 100% confirm Tate’s exact words were, “I want to make a lasting impression on this university and will use this football hire to do so.”

Look what his entire career was built on and take a guess on what type of impression he means

Where did you see this? Asking for a friend…

Blowhard Moscona said it on his coaching changes podcast -

I can promise you this - his MO for crap like this is to throw as much $hit up against the wall with a very broad brush and hopes something hits just so he can say he ‘hinted’ at this ‘months ago’ so you will think he’s in the know.

When Culotta left Guaranty, 75% of the behind the scenes sources left with him.

Who cares if all of LSUs head coaches have been white?.. does that make LSU wrong and cruel for doing so?

You can say the same thing about Alabama, Georgia, OSU, USC, Oklahoma and most of the other power 5 programs. The fact of the matter is that white head coaches have been far more successful than any black head coach. Sorry but it is the truth. That is why you don’t see many black head coaches.

I don't care what color the next LSU head football coach is, as long as they hire the best qualified candidate for the job. If that's James Franklin, then fantastic. If it's Luke Fickell, then I'd be happy as well. What concerns me are the rumors from multiple sources that LSU may not be looking for the best qualified candidate, but rather the most qualified black candidate, thereby eliminating 80% of the applicant pool.

I thought hiring coaches was the AD’s job.

Boosters will pull so much money out if they even sense that this is an affirmative action thing. Tucker isn't even close to the most qualified. I would be happy with Franklin.

Aranda, Fickell, Riley, Franklin, Napier... those guys. But I think it'll be Tucker. But they'll find out what a mistake that is.

Saw that Tate wants this to be his legacy hire hoping to bring in a minority coach.

From who? I feel like this is another rant narrative. Any actual legitimate people saying this?

So nothing about the guy having to be a diversity hire like OP said. Just a rant narrative made up because they don't like the university president as per usual

If you’re so sure a republican will win, why was JBE re-elected?

That would fast track a Tate dismissal/parting.
