Can anyone explain to me how they (AP) rationalize putting OU ahead of Bama? OU has narrowly won against Texas and Tulane. They are not good, but yet are consistently overrated yearly. What reporter needs to have their credentials pulled for this? Haven’t we seen this before?

Anyone with half a football brain knows Alabama would wreck Oklahoma.

The rankings never make any sense. OSU is above Oregon after losing to them at home, but since they beat Rutgers and Maryland all of the sudden they are great again

Don’t worry. All Bama has to do is lose the Iron Bowl, sit at home and watch the SECCG on tv, and they’ll be a lock for a playoff spot.

Michigan is undefeated as well and they’re three spots below Bama.

Damn, this kept you up all night huh
First of all, these rankings don't matter.

Secondly, if you have one loss after only six games in the season against a team not in the top 10 and you are still ranked in the top 5, you shouldn't be bitching.

Preseason poll bias also still plays a big role as the season progresses.

OU has dropped a couple of spots despite not losing a game. So voters have noticed they are struggling.

Michigan was unranked in the preseason, and only received a few votes. They’ve climbed about 20 spots.

Why don’t you call the AP and ask them yourself?

maybe because OU hasn’t lost yet and Bama has.

By that same logic, Bama narrowly won against Florida and lost to Texas A&M.

Alabama lost to a team that was 0-2 in the SEC that’s lost to Miss. St and Arkansas before Saturday.

OU is the most improved team in America now that they shite canned that chicken legged, massively overhyped QB for someone better.

A 2 loss A&M team just beat Alabama and showed significant weakness in the Alabama defense.

Arkansas and Mississippi St are pretenders and beat A&M.

Undefeated is better than not undefeated?

It's not like Bama's loss came against a great team. They choked

Exactly. This is a vulnerable Bama team. They still have a great shot to make the playoffs, but they have serious issues on defense.
